Power Lunch

In 1986, Citymeals Founder Gael Greene and then-Board Member Joan Weill conceived the Power Lunch for Women — our biggest fundraising event of the year — as a spoof on the men's power breakfast concept. Decades later, we're still bringing together friends olds and new to join us in the fight to end elder hunger.

The 37th Annual Power Lunch raised enough to provide 150,000 meals for older New Yorkers in need. See photos and press coverage from this year's event. Over the years, Power Lunch has raised more than $33 million in support of Citymeals' mission.
