Citymeals on Wheels is currently seeking an Associate, Corporate Partnerships who will support the Director, Corporate Partnerships to engage, cultivate and fundraise corporate entities to contribute $1.1 million to the organization’s annual revenue goal. This integral role will work cross-functionally with other departments within the organization as well as interact directly with external stakeholders and donors. Key duties for the Associate will include research, coordination and project management but will also need to handle administrative tasks independently.

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about Citymeals’ mission and will participate in various aspects of the organization (i.e., attending meal deliveries, visiting the Distribution Center in the Bronx).

Citymeals is working on a hybrid schedule. This position will require three days a week at our office in Midtown Manhattan. Days and hours may vary due to business needs. Evenings, weekends and holidays may be required to support fundraising and/ or partnership events.


Responsibilities:

  • Work with Director, Corporate Partnerships on prospects and research to solicit new corporate entities as well as expand current donors for financial support.
  • Collaborate with Events and Partnerships, Major Gifts, Volunteer Programs and Strategic Initiatives on corporate engagement opportunities and/ or inquires i.e. sponsorships, campaigns, and volunteering.
  •  Onsite liaison for select corporate volunteer groups at meal centers across the city and the Distribution Center in The Bronx.
  • Responsible for all administrative duties including (but not limited to) generating partnership agreements, acknowledgment letters, invoices and other key materials/ assets as needed for the department (sponsorship decks and impact reports).
  •  Tracking all pledges and donations for the department.
  • Managing and submitting partnership deliverables.
  •  Responsible for inputting all appropriate information into the organization’s database system.
  • Main point of contact with the Marketing and Communications teams to create external communication materials, social media posts and assets to support corporate partnerships/ corporate volunteering.
  • Special projects as assigned to support the department’s growing needs.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum two years of professional experience at a nonprofit or agency with corporate engagement, client/donor relations, fundraising, project management and partnership execution/ support.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills. Experience interacting with internal and external stakeholders, i.e. high-level donors, corporate executives, leadership team and Board of Directors.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office Suite. Experience with Raiser’s Edge, Salesforce, or similar CRM a plus.
  • Knowledge of Canva a plus.
  •  Energetic, creative and organized team player with experience coordinating and prioritizing multiple projects within a deadline-driven environment.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $60,000, plus an annual discretionary bonus based on organizational and individual success.
