Support CitymealsNew York’s leading ladies in business, art, politics and entertainment (and the handful of generous men who pay $10,000 for the privilege of joining them) gathered at The Plaza Hotel to support Citymeals and mark the event’s milestone 30th anniversary. What began in 1986 as a spoof on the traditional men's power breakfast has grown into a networking imperative for the city’s most influential women. Emceed by Carla Hall, co-host of ABC’s The Chew, chef and cookbook author, this year’s event honored Citymeals Co-Founder Gael Greene and her tireless dedication to nourishing New York City’s homebound elderly. Together we raised $1 million, enough to fund nearly 136,000 meals for older neighbors in need.
In honor of the 30th anniversary of this annual event, we debuted the Power Lunch Delivery Van, through which Citymeals will deliver meals to the homebound elderly across all five boroughs of New York City.
